WHATIn 1957, President Dwight D. Eisenhower – away on vacation – was urgently needed back at the White House. What would have been a two-hour motorcade trip was reduced to a seven-minute helicopter ride courtesy of Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1). During this exclusive tour of the hangar and aircraft used by the President and Vice President, you'll experirence:

  • Introductory video in the HMX-1 ready room that covers the history and mission of HMX-1
  •  Tour of the cage hangar where you'll view the "White Top Fleet" of aircraft used to transport the President of the United States

  • Visit to the HMX-1 Gift Shop where Members can purchase exclusive HMX-1 memorabilia (cash or check only)
