Details: Architects once described it as a building of "beauty, significance, and distinction" and for the first time in 50 years, the Washington D.C. Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is open to the public. Boasting a 288-ft. spire, 173,000 square feet of Alabama white marble, seven-foot-wide panels rising in red and orange hues, softening to blue, violet, and eventually white as they reach the top, and much more, this temple is an architectural marvel which cannot help but inspire and amaze. Tour this gorgeous building which sits on a serene hilltop in Kensington, Maryland as well as its artwork and statues along with other MOSCDC Members and their guests.
